CSG

Every artwork begins somewhere, be it from necessity or pure inspiration. In this case, it is both. CSG is a residential project that stems from the need to open up the space and is inspired by the family’s love for each other and for Morocco.

 

A grand departure from the original, closed-off layout, the new floor plan connects spaces and the happy family of five together, prioritising on the flow from room to room with an open layout where everything is visible at a glance.

 

The material and colour palette were largely borrowed from the family’s happy memories of Morocco, a place filled with nature, the sea, and the sand. With a focus on the latter, the home is encased in earthy light beige and natural warm wood with pops of terracotta and the occasional use of glass blocks that serve as a formal invitation to the sun to let its light in.
