The beginning of most adventures is frequently fraught with challenges. As a reminder that they do not have to be, the admissions-cum-reception office of the University of the Arts (UAS) is designed to be as bright and inviting to the new generation of aspiring artists as possible.

Rounded corners carefully scattered throughout the elongated space reflect the curved design of the school’s logo, creating a meandering path naturally leading visitors around, allowing for freedom of thought and movement.

 

The end result is an open area with stations that remind one of islands peppered over a vast ocean; to be freely discovered and explored, as if they were the corporeal forms of the inspiration born from the minds of those who are about to embark on their artistic endeavours.
